I know it has been quite a while since Monty passed but I still find it very hard to believe he is gone. I still don't want to believe it as I write this and I guess its one of the reasons why I have refrained from writing about his passing.
I remember watching Haloid and then Dead Fantasy 1 and 2.I like many others, were inspired by how one person could great something that could take a team of people to make. His choreography was one of kind, flowed seamlessly and his ideas and weapons were out of this world. I also tried making my own brand: 13 versus 7 and trying to make Dead Fantasy's Rachel vs Rinoa fight. I still have all the ideas in my head and I still hope to make one to completion one day.
Sadly, I am very busy with Architectural Visualization which I also enjoy and I am very passionate about. I hope someday to do something in honour of Monty. Maybe a continuation of dead fantasy or a snippet of rwby. I remember him replying to me on his deviant art page about mocap and rigging when he wasn't so busy. I have also seen the people's lives he has touched like Shane Newville who is now a professional animator and works with Monty( how I envy that dude). He has also been very helpful to me about how he and Monty works.
Rest in peace, Monty. U were gone too soon. U inspired, wowed and challenged us to the best of your ability. Your legacy hasn't ended. It has just begun. Reborn in all of us, to continue anew, and create new animators that will remind us of your hardwork, dedication and brilliant mind .
